Job Summary
Assist in ensuring payer reimbursements by obtaining service authorizations from payers and collecting necessary clinical, financial, and demographic information. Communicate with payers to request authorizations and support the payer-provider contract requirements. Requires strong communication and customer service skills, familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare insurance processes, keen attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and multitask. Proficiency with healthcare information systems is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in healthcare or business administration and/or related coursework, or comparable experience
