Printing Production Supervisor

Job Summary
Supervise hourly union employees on shift to meet safety, environmental, production, quality, and cost goals while ensuring adherence to Evergreen packaging safety policies, OSHA regulations, and SQF Code requirements. Organize and direct shift activities to achieve production targets and KPIs, verify work hours and pay rates, and enforce rules and disciplinary actions as needed. Conduct weekly safety meetings, check work areas for hazards, and communicate order statuses to resolve employee issues and provide coaching. Balance quality, productivity, performance, and morale to deliver products meeting internal and external specifications, leading continuous improvement initiatives across the department.

- Ability to balance and achieve results in areas of safety, quality, productivity, cost and employee relations
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure
- Strong team player
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of product
- Knowledge of business and management principles
- Computer literate
- Knowledge of Food Safety requirements
- Ability to interpret and administer SQF Code
