Operate an Offset Web Printing Press, performing setups, adjustments, and daily troubleshooting while managing color corrections, plate changes, and cylinder alignments. Maintain equipment through basic preventative maintenance using micrometers to mount and align printing plates correctly. Review job specifications and quality requirements for accuracy, ensuring compliance with digital file formats and color management standards. This role features a 12-hour rotating schedule with day and night shifts available for a long-term opportunity with a stable company in a dependable field.
Required Qualifications
- Must have experience as a Offset / Flexo Printing Press Operator
- Ability to do set ups, adjustments, and operate a printing press
- Troubleshoot and do basic preventative maintenance
- Change plates, cylinders, adjust blankets, tensioning, make color corrections, etc
- Basic color management skills and the ability to work with different digital file formats
- Review job specs and quality requirements for accuracy
- Use of micrometer to mount and align the printing plate correctly
- Requires previous experience programming, setting up, and operating an Offset or Flexo Printing Presses
