Printing Operations Manager

Job Summary
Oversee production employees, train staff on scheduling needs, and communicate monthly goals for production, safety, and quality. Ensure safe equipment use with proper PPE, schedule regular maintenance, and enforce company guidelines. Generate quality requirements, provide technical expertise on issues, and document concerns for internal and external communication. Implement cost-reduction methods, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and perform press operations when needed. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data and keep leadership informed of activities impacting department objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management or Engineering
- Organizational skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office with a focus on Excel
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of materials
- Conflict resolution skills
- Proven work history and successful track record of continuous improvement and achieving production and quality goals
- In person role in Newington, CT
- Monday - Friday schedule
- 8:30 am - 5:00 pm schedule
