Job Summary
Ensure correct stock and inks, mix ink and take viscosities to maintain required colors, and make quality-related decisions using product specification testing. Prepare the press for the succeeding run by performing line clearance procedures and document all necessary testing of raw materials and finished products using established company methods. Perform entries into the computer system for raw materials and complete all required preventative maintenance. Provide necessary communication at shift change and execute other duties as assigned. This role requires proficiency in color matching, ability to read standard ruler measurements, and basic mechanical aptitude.
Required Qualifications
- Web handling fundamentals
- Must be able to read standard ruler measurements
- Beginner level computer skills
- English language verbal and written communication skills
- High school math skills
- Demonstrate the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude and problem solving abilities
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently with team members
- Proficient at color matching
- Must be able to pass a color proficiency test and color blindness test
