Job Summary
Printer Packer role at PaperTech involving assisting with printing press setup during changeovers, assisting with setup of WIP totes, bags, and pallets; inspecting blanks for defects, aligning and stacking WIP blanks, replacing pallets with empties, maintaining time/quantity records, and cleaning between jobs. Emphasis on following food safety rules (GMPs, OSHA, HACCP, SQF), working in a multi-task, team-based production environment, interpreting engineering drawings, and ensuring safe, efficient packing and packaging of finished blanks. Includes shift differentials for 2nd/3rd shifts, overtime availability, and comprehensive benefits (health, PTO after 60 days, 401K) within an equal opportunity environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must have valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds consistently
- Able to work prolonged periods on your feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping
- Follow all GMPs, OSHA, HACCP, GFSI, SQF policy as stated by company
- Able to work overtime as needed
- Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines and inspect parts produced
- Ability to interpret and translate engineering designs and documentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understand and abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations
