Job Summary
Prepare the press for scheduled runs by mounting raw plate, napkin, or label stock and determining ink formulations. Adjust pressure settings for printing cylinders and ensure correct web alignment while making necessary adjustments during the run. Remove finished rolls from the rewind stand at the completion of each job. Operate the UTECO printing press to produce products meeting established quality standards by printing to proof. This 7A to 3P shift role requires prior machine operation and manufacturing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to understand basic written and oral instructions
- Ability to perform basic math
- Ability to communicate with management and coworkers in order to meet departmental goals
- Ability to determine colors
- High school diploma or general education degree
- Prior machine operation experience
- Prior manufacturing experience
