Job Summary
The Print Tool Technician is responsible for ensuring printing production efficiency by preparing flexographic/litho plates and rotary screens, maintaining QA checklists, and managing plate and screen tracking logs. The role includes cleaning and maintaining production equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and coordinating with scheduling teams. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, preferred technical expertise in printing processes, and excellent communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- Technical expertise in flexo, rotary screen and general printing processes
- Print manufacturing experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of color separations, press layouts, print specifications
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Physical ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to climb stairs, bend, sit, stand, walk, reach with arms, push, pull and use hands and fingers to feel and handle material
Desired Qualifications
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Experience with Radius job management software
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
