Print Shop Manager

Job Summary
Oversee large-format print production operations, supervising production staff and coordinating with shop leadership. Act as client contact for job specifications and production details, ensure on-time delivery within budget, train staff on procedures and workflows, manage equipment maintenance and upgrades, and optimize workflows and inventory to support efficient production. Maintain strong customer service and cross-functional collaboration with graphics and shipping teams, while guiding problem resolution and ensuring quality output.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required (technical training preferred)
- 3–5+ years of experience in print production, large-format printing, or print shop operations
- Strong experience with grand-format and large-format printing workflows
- Demonstrated leadership ability with experience supervising production teams
- Strong customer service and client communication skills (phone, email, and in-person)
- Ability to clearly communicate production processes, job requirements, and technical instructions
- Strong understanding of print equipment, materials, and production capabilities
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven production environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer escalations professionally
