Job Summary
Print Shop Manager for large-format production and operations supervision. Responsible for coordinating onsite production workflow, supervising the production workforce across shifts, communicating job specifications and proof approvals to production and graphics teams, serving as client contact for print requirements, ensuring projects meet deadlines and stay within budget, training staff on procedures and equipment, overseeing equipment maintenance and upgrades, managing inventory and materials, resolving customer issues professionally, and supporting multiple departments with production duties as needed. Strong leadership, customer service, and clear communication of production processes and technical instructions are required, along with deep knowledge of grand-format printing workflows and equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3–5+ years of experience in print production, large-format printing, or print shop operations
- Strong experience with grand-format and large-format printing workflows
- Demonstrated leadership ability with experience supervising production teams
- Strong customer service and client communication skills (phone, email, and in-person)
- Ability to clearly communicate production processes, job requirements, and technical instructions
- Strong understanding of print equipment, materials, and production capabilities
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven production environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer escalations professionally
