Job Summary
Oversee large-format print production operations, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to budgets. Partner with shop leadership to manage production staffing and workflows, supervise production teams across regular and extended shifts, communicate job specifications, proofs, and shipping details to production and graphics teams, and serve as a client contact for print requirements. Train staff on procedures and equipment use, oversee maintenance and upgrades of large-format printing equipment, manage inventory and materials to support efficient production, resolve customer escalations, and support multiple departments with flexible production roles as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3–5+ years of experience in print production, large-format printing, or print shop operations (required)
- Strong experience with grand-format and large-format printing workflows
- Demonstrated leadership ability with experience supervising production teams
- Strong customer service and client communication skills (phone, email, and in-person)
- Ability to clearly communicate production processes, job requirements, and technical instructions
- Strong understanding of print equipment, materials, and production capabilities
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven production environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer escalations professionally
