Job Summary
Print Production Specialist responsible for operating and maintaining a range of printing and finishing equipment (digital printers, cutters, folders, binding machines) to produce high-quality materials. Responsibilities include setting up machines per job specifications, selecting paper stock, ensuring alignment, monitoring quality control, troubleshooting equipment, handling materials and inventory, documenting production data, performing routine maintenance, coordinating with service providers, and collaborating with designers, production staff, and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and quality output. The role involves flexible scheduling within the print shop environment in Scottsdale, AZ, with opportunities to open/close the shop and work independently as you gain footing. Required skills include basic computer proficiency, problem-solving, attention to detail, organizational abilities, effective communication, physical stamina for standing and lifting, and knowledge of USPS postal regulations. Previous experience with various printing and finishing machinery is preferred, but training is provided for motivated individuals.
