Job Summary
Print Production Operator in a full-time role responsible for processing wide-format and small-format print jobs from multiple input channels, handling pre-press, printing, cutting, finishing, binding, lamination, and installation. The candidate will manage orders, ensure resources (media, fonts, graphics) are available, process PDFs/graphics, troubleshoot submission and production issues, inspect finished work for sharpness and accurate dimensions, perform minor maintenance, load/unload print materials, provide customer service to accounts, and report mechanical failures to the Production/Branch Manager. Requires a minimum of 3 years in large-format production, ability to read a tape measure, lift at least 50 lbs, and willingness to overtime in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience in large-format production
- Experience with large-format and small-format printers
- Ability to read and use a standard tape measure
- Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs on a consistent basis
- Willing to work overtime as needed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Provide good customer service to maintain accounts
- Knowledge of pre-press, printing, cutting, finishing and installation processes
- Experience with binding, laminating, and other finishing duties
- Strong troubleshooting skills for print submission and production processes
- Ability to process PDFs and graphics files received via multiple channels
- Maintain quality and accuracy of output (image quality, density, alignment)
- Maintain safe and clean work environment
- Communicate with Production Manager or Branch Manager about mechanical failures
- Experience with material flow and inventory management
