Job Summary
Print Procurement Engineer responsible for managing strategic vendors and manufacturing partners in mechanical manufacturing. Leads the definition of sourcing strategies, selects suppliers, awards/removes business, and ensures quality, sustainability, and cost targets are met across global suppliers. Works with Print Operations, Engineering, R&D, and supply-chain teams to industrialize new or modified designs, drive cost reduction, and identify innovation opportunities. Maintains part quality control plans, conducts quality and process audits, and manages procurement projects or processes to deliver on-time results. Requires an advanced degree in Industrial/Materials/Supply Chain or Chemical Engineering with at least 8 years of vendor management experience, strong cost and risk management capabilities, proficiency in 2D drawings and manufacturing processes, English fluency, and willingness to travel; based in Singapore with full-time employment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's/ Master Degree in Industrial, Materials, Supply Chain or Chemical Engineering
- minimum 8 years of vendor/partner management experience in industrial sectors
- knowledge in Plastic Injection tooling and parts manufacturing, modules assembly and testing, textiles materials, filters, elastomers, foams or other mechanical technologies (valued)
- strong leadership and creativity; ability to influence others
- project management skills; planning and cross-organizational implementation
- fluency in English; willingness to travel
- strong negotiation and cost control capabilities
- ability to understand mechanical parts specifications, 2D drawings, manufacturing processes, and perform audits at supplier sites
- ability to provide technical inputs to new designs (DFX)
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- excellent presentation and communication skills
