Job Summary
Review and prioritize print requests from mainframes, ensuring quality checks and adherence to instructions. Deliver jobs within established timeframes while maintaining logs of all submitted and completed work. Perform minor maintenance on reproduction equipment, including resolving paper jams, routine cleaning, and daily meter readings. Monitor inventory for paper and toners, and inform clients of estimated completion times or service delays. Assist in opening and closing the print center, keeping the area neat and professional. Prepare monthly production reports and billing charges, and handle occasional tasks such as faxing, scanning, and mailroom duties as directed.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- 1-5 years experience working directly in a print center
- Some familiarity with the general job functions, and minimal understanding of the detailed aspects of the job
- Knowledge of machine operations from low to high volume high speed duplicating equipment
- Proficiency in the use of a variety of reproduction-related equipment & systems (fax, scanner, punches, staplers, inserters, folders, paper cutters, spiral-binding, velo-binders, stitcher and collaters, counters
- Excellent customer service, professional attitude and appearance is a must
- Ability to work overtime & meet deadlines
- Ability to follow directives and handle physical demands
- Possess strong communication skills
- May lift and/or move up to 50 lb
