Job Summary
Inspect completed work against approved artwork and proofs, then apply transfers to garments using heat-press equipment. Accurately record production data, package, label, and route finished items to customer orders. Perform routine maintenance on printers and curing equipment while monitoring consumable inventory. Coordinate with design, customer service, and warehouse teams to resolve production questions. Support additional Value-Added Services including screen printing, pad printing, tagging, and assembly as business needs require. Follow strict safety, housekeeping, and waste-disposal procedures. High school education required with one to two years of experience in direct-to-film or heat-transfer production preferred. Basic Adobe skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School/GED education
- Must be able to lift heavy objects (occasionally between 50-75 lbs.) with or without reasonable accommodation for an entire shift
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail, organization, dependability, and ability to manage multiple orders and changing priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- One to two years of experience in direct-to-film printing, digital printing, heat-transfer production, screen printing, pad printing, or a related machine-operator role
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator / Adobe Photoshop
- Experience working from production orders, artwork, proofs, specifications, and quality standards
- Ability to use a computer and learn print-production software, file-management practices, and internal production systems
