Job Summary
Operate high-speed laser printers and automated insertion equipment to print and process customer invoices and statements accurately and on schedule. Prepare completed mail jobs for entry into the USPS, following established postal procedures and quality standards. Monitor equipment performance during production runs and flag any issues to the supervisor or service technician promptly. Perform basic quality checks to verify correct materials and acceptable print quality while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workstation. Work collaboratively with fellow operators to meet daily production goals and customer SLAs, supporting the team during peak periods with flexible hours and overtime as needed. Valid driver's license required for occasional company vehicle use.
Required Qualifications
- Proven history of punctuality and a strong work ethic
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime during peak production periods
- Basic PC skills sufficient to process jobs in a timely and accurate manner
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and respond to basic equipment issues
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and stand for extended periods during production shifts
- Valid Driver's License and willingness to drive the company vehicle on occasion
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of mailing and USPS procedures
- Familiarity with Pitney Bowes or Bell & Howell inserting equipment
- Experience operating laser printers in a production environment
- High School Diploma or GED-equivalent
