Job Summary
Technology Operations Engineer I in our Print Center to help ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of critical systems in print/mail, data, and mainframe print environments. Responsibilities include designing and implementing infrastructure requirements for provisioning, monitoring, and deployment; building and enhancing CI/CD pipelines for deployment automation and rollback safety; configuring and optimizing both cloud-based and on-premises systems for high availability and performance; implementing monitoring, alerting, and incident response while following security protocols; collaborating with software, platform, and infrastructure engineers to improve system reliability across hybrid environments; and performing duties to support reliable operations. Must have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related STEM field (or equivalent work experience) plus 2 years of technology operations or related engineering experience; three years of site reliability/systems administration experience preferred; Cobol experience; SQL relational database knowledge; basic programming knowledge (Python, VBA); Windows and Linux experience. The role is on-site in Norcross, GA, and requires eligibility to work in the United States; H-1B sponsorship is not provided.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related STEM field, or its equivalent in work experience plus 2 years of technology operations or related engineering experience
- Three (3) years of site reliability/systems administration experience preferred
- Cobol Experience
- Relational Database Knowledge (SQL)
- Basic programming knowledge (Python, VBA)
- Operating Systems Experience (Windows, Linux)
- Demonstrated track record of reliability expertise including the ability to understand system reliability concepts
- Ability to deliver reliability work at a steady, predictable pace
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
