Job Summary
Print Control Operator at StickerYou operates and maintains state-of-the-art large-format cutting machines (Zund) to ensure high-quality, high-volume production. Responsibilities include daily planning and execution of large-format cut loads, independent troubleshooting to minimize downtime, implementing process improvements to reduce costs and improve quality, performing routine machine maintenance, learning from expert technicians to reduce external repair needs, promoting safe and productive work behaviors, and collaborating with the Production Manager and Team Lead on special projects. Requires 1-2 years in print, proficiency with Windows OS, G-Suite and Microsoft Office (including Google Sheets, Excel, Google Docs, Word, Gmail), knowledge of print workflows and related software (e.g., Zund Cut Center, Onyx, Roland VersaWorks, EFI Fiery, Xeikon X-800), ability to lift 50 lbs, and authorization to work in Canada; position is part-time with Saturday and Sunday evenings (3:30pm-12:00am) at 670 Caledonia Road, Toronto, ON.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience in the print industry
- Has education or work experience in Graphic Arts and/or Printing field
- High proficiency in Windows OS, G-suite and Microsoft Office (Google Sheets, Excel, Google Docs, Word, Gmail)
- Authorized to live and work in Canada
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for 8-10 hours
- Knowledge of print Digital Front End software (e.g., Zund Cut Center, Onyx, Roland VersaWorks, EFI Fiery, Xeikon X-800)
- Strong written and verbal communication, problem solving, and teamwork
