Priniciple / Lead Engineer Electrical - RUK - "High-rise & Complex Buildings" - Chennai / Noida

Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical services design for high-rise building projects within Ramboll's Buildings Department. You will coordinate with project managers and engineers for draughting work in the High-Rise department, provide mentorship to junior engineers, and lead electrical design for small to medium projects. Responsibilities include collaboration with architects, structural engineers, consultants, clients, and PMs; developing design philosophies and contributing from feasibility to detailed design; ensuring accuracy, completeness, and multidisciplinary coordination of design documentation with QA/QC; contributing to meetings and presenting designs to clients; applying buildability and construction techniques knowledge; understanding project financials; supporting prequalification documents, RFPs, and client inquiries; maintaining strong written and verbal communication; embedding Health & Safety, quality, and training policies; and continuing professional development. Requires B.E./M.E. in Electrical Engineering with 10-12 years of experience, including UK project experience, proficiency in electrical calculations, BIM/digitalization, and software tools (Trimble Amtech, Dialux/Relux, AutoCAD, REVIT, Navisworks), as well as knowledge of BS-EN, CIBSE, ASHRAE, NFPA.
