Job Summary
Principle Software Engineer role focused on designing and leading cloud-enabled software solutions. Provides guidance to design and develop reliable, cost-effective, high-quality solutions for assigned systems portions or subsystems; evaluates new technologies to align with roadmap; reviews designs for compliance with guidelines; mentors others; analyzes data processing problems to develop solutions for complex application problems, system administration issues, or network concerns. Requires strong programming skills in Python, Java, and Golang; deep networking, security, and software architecture expertise; experience with SaaS applications in public cloud (AWS/GCP); excellent communication and ability to articulate architectures to executives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or closely related quantitative discipline
- Typically, 10-15 years’ experience
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Golang
- Deep understanding of networking protocols, network architectures, network security
- Deep expertise in software systems design, development methodologies, and integration across diverse platforms and technologies
- Proficient in building, deploying, and operating scalable SaaS applications in a Public Cloud (AWS/GCP) environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate product architectures and negotiate options at business unit and executive levels
