Job Summary
Partner with Account Managers to identify, qualify, and close complex enterprise opportunities by designing end-to-end networking solutions that align with customer business objectives. Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, and Proofs of Concept while developing proposals and solution architectures. Position HPE Networking solutions against competitive offerings, articulate business value, and build long-term relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. Support demand-generation activities alongside channel and technology partners to drive opportunities from initial discovery through successful deployment and customer adoption. Maintain expertise in emerging networking technologies and competitive market trends. This customer-facing role requires regular travel throughout the Northern California Bay Area territory.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of related experience
- Master's degree with 5+ years of experience
- Strong pre-sales, systems engineering, or infrastructure engineering experience supporting enterprise customers
- Excellent customer-facing communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for customers
- High-density enterprise wireless LANs
- Layer 2 switching and Layer 3 routing (BGP, OSPF)
- TCP/IP networking, IP addressing, and subnetting
- Network Access Control (NAC) solutions such as Aruba ClearPass or Cisco ISE
- Enterprise routing, switching, and campus networking
- Python scripting and network automation frameworks
- Cloud-managed networking platforms and cloud technologies
- Candidates must reside in the Northern California Bay Area
- This is a customer-facing role requiring regular travel throughout the assigned territory to support customer meetings, presentations, demonstrations, and Proofs of Concept
