Job Summary
Principle Platform Engineer within the Digital Division’s Platform Services Team (Cloud, Platforms, Infrastructure & Networks) at AEMO. Lead technical direction for integrating new technologies and improving BAU operations across highly available systems, mentor team members on complex issues, and ensure platforms are monitored and secured. Maintain broad technical knowledge across server, storage, data protection, virtualization, and security frameworks; contribute to IT strategy and architecture roadmaps; participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation. Flexible working options include work from home, hybrid arrangements, and part-time/ job-share styles. Strong emphasis on ITIL change management and excellent written/verbal communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Degree qualifications in Computing and IT, Communications/Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- Australian Citizenship is required
- Baseline Security Clearance or eligibility to apply
