Job Summary
Accountable for enterprise knowledge governance and GenAI enablement across Snowflake, Collibra, and related platforms. Bridges semantic architecture, knowledge lifecycle governance, and GenAI enablement to translate complex knowledge structures into consistent business meaning, ensuring semantic governance standards are met before production deployment, and maintaining production knowledge integrity. Design, govern, and evolve enterprise ontologies and semantic models; establish change management, versioning, and approval workflows. Embed governed knowledge into RAG systems and knowledge graphs, define onboarding processes for new GenAI use cases, and enforce governance for accuracy, provenance, compliance, and auditability. Drive improvements in retrieval precision and recall, reduce hallucinations, and increase trust and adoption of AI systems. Strong collaboration with engineering and AI teams to ensure semantic standards across Snowflake, analytics, BI, and AI use cases; establish domain ownership and stewardship models for semantic assets and provide executive-level communication on governance outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (advanced degree preferred)
- Experience withEnterprise data governance platforms (eg. Collibra, Alation, Atlan, etc) strongly preferred
- 10 years in knowledge management, data modeling, ontology design, or semantic technologies
- Demonstrated enterprise-scale ontology or knowledge graph design experience
- Strong understanding of GenAI architectures, including RAG and agent-based systems
- Experience in regulated or risk-sensitive environments preferred
- Executive-level communication skills
