Job Summary
Coordinate receipt and review of RFQs/tenders, including logging, tracking, compliance checks, and clarifying scope of work and client expectations. Develop winning bid strategies in collaboration with Function Leadership and Business Teams while producing lowest cost estimates and technical proposals to enable profitable new projects. Support product development activities, engage with vendors for technical discussions and quotations, and review equipment offers and BOQs. Lead internal management reviews presenting risk assessments, key assumptions, and competitive insights, ensuring all proposals adhere to AP standards and BMS documentation. Complete assigned technical proposals and estimates on time within budget, support contract reviews, and conduct win/lost order analysis. Work in a fast-paced environment balancing changing priorities with occasional travel for customer discussions and site reviews.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering
- Up to 8-15 years' experience in relevant industry & Roles
- Semiconductor Gas bidding experience
- Led ≥3 firm bids (>USD 50MM)
- Strong commercial mindset
- Able to lead cross-functional teams independently
- Comfortable presenting to customers and management
- Understand CAPEX + OPEX+ schedule + risk
- Broad experience in Industrial Gases, Oil & Gas , Petrochemical industries
- Experience of EPC projects
- Ability to travel both Local and international (approx. 10-15% annually)
- Must be able to work effectively in a Global, round-the-clock organization
- Adhere to Air Products Global Safety and Process Safety requirements
- Apply safety‐in‐design principles specific to ASU technology, including cryogenic and high‐pressure systems
- Ensure compliance with engineering procedures, quality systems, and regulatory requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Air Separation industry /Technology
- Licenses / Certifications
- Experience of working in organizations in Industrial gases, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical industries preferred
- Self-Management and motivation to win profitable projects
- Demonstrate ability to work productively and proactively in a global team environment, collaborating with functional groups across the entire breadth of Air Products in all regions
- Sound business and financial acumen to analyze data
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced work environment with a demanding workload while balancing changing/competing priorities
