Job Summary
Oversee all maintenance management programs, policies, and procedures for the Navy proposal effort PAE Maritime GEM. Analyze maintenance functional areas to ensure effective equipment use, plan operations, and conduct inspections. Provide guidance to command and commodity managers, advise the AO on maintenance matters, and supervise hazardous materials programs. Prepare standard operating procedures, review reports, and manage maintenance automated information systems data. Monitor supply levels, equipment status, and maintenance-related programs including corrosion control and modifications. Coordinate publication requirements and validate administration policies while tracking production reporting. Maintain correspondence files and conduct training. Requires Secret level security clearance, ten years of DOD or Navy acquisition experience, and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or Science.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or Science discipline
- Ten (10) years professional experience in program/project management in DOD acquisition
- Ten (10) years professional experience in program/project management in Navy acquisition
- Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Must be able to lift up to 10-20 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
- Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically
- Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level
- US Citizenship
