Job Summary

Define the long-term architecture, standards, and roadmap for Workday and related People & Capability technologies. Lead the design of scalable, secure, and resilient Workday solutions, integrations, and platform capabilities, including governance of architecture decisions and simplification of the technology landscape. Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering leaders to translate strategic priorities into technology solutions while evaluating emerging Workday capabilities to improve employee experience and operational efficiency. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance across HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Learning, and adjacent domains, producing key architectural documentation that ensures compliance with enterprise standards. Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, clearly communicating complex architectural topics to support informed decision-making.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of enterprise application architecture and engineering experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on Workday technical architecture experience in large, complex enterprises
  • Deep and proven expertise in implementing Workday integrations using Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, APIs, web services, and middleware platforms
  • Experience architecting and governing Workday Extend solutions to address complex business requirements while minimizing customization and technical debt
  • Expertise in Workday security architecture, governance, compliance, and audit controls
  • Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, API design, modern data architectures, and enterprise integration patterns
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale transformation and modernization programs
  • Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to influence strategic decisions across technology and business organizations
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
