Job Summary
Perform as a Principal Computer Systems Analyst supporting classified government contracts by managing multi-user Windows systems, including installation, patching, monitoring, and configuration. Coordinate with system engineers, network teams, and end users to resolve hardware, software, and network issues while ensuring system compliance via Group Policy and security guidelines. Maintain backup and recovery services, manage file systems, and develop technical documentation for system processes. Work across disciplines to isolate issues between operating systems, networks, and applications, raising senior-level issues as needed. Support environments through ticketing systems and adhere to strict information security standards. Work on-site full-time in Melbourne, FL, with a 9/80 schedule, including after-hours and weekend support as required.
Required Qualifications
- Current US Government Top Secret security
- Security+ or greater certification
- Master's degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience OR Associate's degree and 7 years of experience OR High School diploma (or equivalent) and 9 years of experience
- Windows domains, including but not limited to Active Directory, GPOs, Policies, and permissions
- Windows Server Administration to include, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, LDAP and other services
- Experience operating under and managing systems within NISPOM Chapter 8, DCID 6/3-ICD 503, RMF, STIG, JAFAN, or JSIG information system environments
- Knowledge of networking, including subnets, routing, VLANs and VTCs
- Create, maintain, and deploy system images in a LAN and up to an enterprise environment
- Current working virtualization experience
- Knowledge of Backup solutions (Cohesity, Veritas, etc) and SAN storage systems
- Experience with environmental monitoring tools (HBSS/Solar Winds/Splunk)
- Experience in scripting
- Operating System Cross-platform awareness (i.e. two or more: Windows, Linux, Solaris, OSX, UNIX, etc.)
- Experience with Assessment & Authorization processes
- Willingness to work on-site, full-time at our Melbourne, FL location
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Availability to work after hours, and weekends, as needed
- U.S. Citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology
- Active TS/SCI, SAP/SAR access, or Polygraph
- Experience with Assessment & Authorization processes
