Job Summary
Principal Windows System Administrator based in Tewksbury, MA, onsite role supporting critical classified programs. Collaborate with multiple teams to develop, implement and maintain secure IT environments across Windows and Linux (Red Hat) platforms. Responsibilities include configuring and maintaining AD/LDAP, DNS, DHCP, server replication, data backups and storage, working with Cybersecurity to meet security requirements, and producing documentation and training on advanced IT processes. Must meet DoDD 8140/8570 certification requirements within 6 months, support 24x7 operations, and travel up to 10% to other US domestic locations. Eligible for security clearance (Secret) and U.S. citizenship.
Required Qualifications
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date
- U.S. citizenship required (citizenship is required for clearance)
- Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience with minimum years of relevant experience (5+ years preferred)
- Experience with Windows Server and Linux (Red Hat)
- Experience with LDAP, Active Directory, VMware, networking administration
- DoD 8140/8570 certification requirements within 6 months of start date (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent)
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, etc.)
- Willingness to travel up to 10%
- Onsite 100% role with potential travel to other US locations
