Job Summary
Lead Windows system administration for large-scale, 24x7 enterprise environments supporting classified programs. Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server/Desktop and Linux platforms, AD DS, Group Policy, MECM, PowerShell, and related Windows enterprise technologies. Build and harden secure infrastructures, ensure DFARS, RMF, and NIST Cybersecurity Framework compliance, and manage virtualization with VMware/vCenter and Horizon. Collaborate across Digital Technology and cross-functional teams to deliver cost-effective solutions, perform proactive monitoring, tuning, patching, licensing and lifecycle management, and develop comprehensive documentation.Lead incident response and maintenance activities outside standard hours as required to maintain system availability and stability.
Required Qualifications
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience (Bachelor's degree or higher preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with minimum 5 years experience.
- Experience in the design, implementation, and administration of Microsoft Windows and Active Directory environments.
- Experience with ESXi and VMWare virtualization technologies.
- Experience with secure system configurations, trouble shooting complex Windows system issues, and backup/recovery.
