Principal (Venus Primary School)

Direct and manage overall campus operations and lead the campus instructional program to ensure high standards of instruction and student achievement. Responsible for compliance with district policies, application of instructional programs, and the effective operation of campus activities. Provide instructional resources, monitor instructional processes, and establish expectations for staff performance in instructional strategies, classroom management, and communication with the public. Foster collegiality and team building among staff; solicit input from campus-level committees and involve students and community representatives when appropriate. Lead school improvement efforts, establish campus performance objectives, and promote ongoing instructional excellence. Manage fiscal, administrative, and facilities functions including budgeting, reporting, and utilization of school facilities. Supervise and evaluate staff, plan professional development, and engage with families and the community to support student success. Maintain compliance with state regulations and district safety procedures, and oversee student discipline management within the school.
