Job Summary
Develop and execute strategic goals for educational programs while overseeing their design, implementation, and evaluation. Lead and mentor a diverse team of educators, administrative staff, and volunteers, providing ongoing training and conducting performance evaluations. Manage program budgets to ensure cost-effective delivery and maintain compliance with relevant laws and policies. Build strong relationships with local communities, families, donors, and partners to advocate for culturally appropriate educational initiatives. Regularly report on program status, challenges, and successes to senior management and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Education, Non-profit Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in educational leadership, preferably in a non-profit or community-based setting
- Experience in managing and mentoring diverse teams of staff
- Strong background in program development and management in an NGO or social sector context
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think strategically, creatively solve problems, and make data-driven decisions
- Strong understanding of educational frameworks, pedagogy, and community development
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including marginalized and vulnerable communities
- Passionate about education and community development
- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven
- Compassionate, empathetic, and culturally sensitive
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
