Job Summary
Operations Training Specialist (formerly titled Principal Training Spec) responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive training programs across the organization. Lead learning needs analyses, develop curricula, and deploy training across multiple modalities (eLearning, instructor-led, videos, simulations, workshops) to support business objectives and regulatory/compliance standards. Create engaging training materials, manage documentation and schedules, evaluate training effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to ensure training quality, support operational excellence, and sustain knowledge retention. Requires advanced or bachelor’s degree with several years in training/L&D, strong instructional design and project management skills, proficiency with LMS and tools like Articulate/Captivate, ability to work across functions, and willingness to travel up to ~50%.”,
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of experience in training/learning & development, preferably in a regulated industry
- Demonstrated expertise in adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
- Strong project management capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and learning management systems
- Experience creating engaging training content across multiple modalities (eLearning, instructor-led, video, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Knowledge of cGMP/regulatory requirements and quality systems preferred
- Proficient in English; additional languages a plus
- Experience with learning technologies like Articulate, Captivate, or similar tools preferred
- Up to 50% travel may be required for some positions
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives
- Experience measuring and evaluating training effectiveness
