Job Summary
Principal Technology Consultant for Hewlett Packard Enterprise with a hybrid work arrangement (2 days per week from an HPE office). Responsible for providing technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams, delivering detailed technical designs for enterprise solutions, leading cross-functional teams, shaping technical direction and strategies, and contributing to sales opportunities and proposals to meet customer needs. Requires 12+ years of experience and a Master’s degree, with extensive knowledge across IT products, multi-vendor environments, and industry practices. The role involves building and maintaining customer relationships, guiding technical outcomes, and representing the company in professional settings and industry events.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of professional experience
- Master of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study
- Holds a vendor or industry certification in more than one discipline area
- Ability to develop solutions usable at multiple customer sites to enhance availability, performance, maintainability and agility
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and large projects
- Ability to lead proposals and solution design for complex customer solutions
- Ability to communicate effectively at senior levels and in public forums
- Experience delivering enterprise technology solutions across multiple technologies
- Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
