Job Summary

Manage schedule and cost accountability for Manufacturing activities within the Space Systems Division, driving production and design changes to optimize program execution. Define, implement, and monitor process metrics for manufacturing work cells while identifying root causes of production issues and proposing improvement projects for yield and production rates. Maintain daily interfaces between the Program Management Office, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure resources and equipment meet operational performance requirements. Facilitate internal meetings to support design and problem resolutions, presenting program visibility to executive management. This role supports the Manufacturing OPM team's mission to interface Business Division and Manufacturing Work Centers, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and agency standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM area (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math)
  • 5 years of relevant work experience
  • 3 years of relevant work experience with a Master's degree
  • Experience in leadership and project management
  • Experience working in Manufacturing, Engineering, Test, Production, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
  • MS Office applications including Excel, Word, Project, and Power Point
  • Experience in engineering or manufacturing
  • Working knowledge of Cost Point and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems
  • Candidate must have demonstrated ability in working with cross organizational teams and customers
  • Experience with SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
  • MS Office applications including Excel, Word, Project, and Power Point

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Management, Manufacturing, Industrial or Quality Engineering
  • Active security clearance
  • Demonstrated expertise in the following systems and concepts: MRP and IMS Scheduling
  • Windchill, TipQA, Cognos
  • Earned Value Management
  • Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing and Manufacturing
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Program execution experience
