Job Summary
Manage and lead key programs involving multiple functions and program teams to drive engineering development and implementation for multiple products or service offerings across a Global Business Unit. Direct overall program strategy, budgets, resource allocation plans, and requirements while managing activities of supporting program teams and internal and external development partners. Communicate program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to stakeholders, collaborating with business unit management to recommend changes that drive continuous improvement and manage program costs. Drive innovation and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives into engineering projects, reviewing program plans for compliance with guidelines and standards. Lead, guide, and mentor less experienced staff members to foster innovation and excellence within the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent
- 8+ years of experience in program or project management within engineering or manufacturing environments
- Demonstrated experience managing all aspects of cross-business unit programs, including directing matrixed teams and resources
- Proven history of innovation with examples of developing new technical, engineering, and/or manufacturing processes
- Experience designing and developing project and program planning tools and software packages to create, manage, and track project results
- Successful track record working with external parties such as standards bodies, partners, and development organizations
- Ability to manage complex, longer-term programs with multiple projects and cross-functional requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Mastery in English and local language
- Demonstrated business acumen and understanding of organizational strategy
- Ability to effectively communicate program management architectures, plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at business unit levels
- Experience with cross-functional collaboration, mentorship, and knowledge sharing across organizations
- 2 days per week from an HPE office
Desired Qualifications
- PMP/PMI certification preferred
