Job Summary
Own the program strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for CPQ, CFE, and associated AI solutions aligned with Gas Power business priorities. Manage the overall program budget, including annual scope identification, monthly pacing monitoring, and financial target adherence. Act as the single point of contact for stakeholders, owning prioritization across sub-businesses and driving clear, proactive communication through governance cycles. Define requirements with clear business benefits, translate them into actionable features and prioritized backlogs, and ideate process automation to drive simplification and operational rigor. Conduct rhythmic cadences for prioritizing enhancements and releases in partnership with functional, governance, and technical teams to ensure effective delivery. Establish and monitor performance metrics, user feedback, and support trends to guide continuous enhancement and drive measurable business impact through scalable, user-focused digital solutions. Partner on AI initiatives from ideation through deployment and optimization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or another STEM discipline, or equivalent experience/knowledge
- Experience with Commercial business processes and technical solutions
- Significant professional IT experience with demonstrated leadership in digital transformation
- Self-Driven, autonomous, and can proactively identify and remove obstacles for organization with the ability to get the work done with minimal supervision
- Experience translating business requirements into technical deliverables and working with development teams
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional and multi-technical initiatives and influence stakeholders in matrixed organization
- Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing team members
- Experience with Agile product management practices, backlog management, and release planning
- The SAFe agile certification at advantage
- Highly effective communicator with experience in presenting and interacting with leadership
- Hands-on understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and related technologies
- Strong understanding of Lean methodologies, with experience applying them in complex, cross-functional IT environments
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in Agile / SAFe methodology
- Experience with tools such as Oracle CPQ, Salesforce.com, ERP (SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise platforms)
- Expert proficiency in tools like ADO, SmartSheet, Miro, Excel, etc.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Commercial technologies to actively participate in buy vs build recommendations
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical individuals
- Demonstrate strategic expert-level skills in problem decomposition and ability to navigate through ambiguity
- Lead or participate in problem solving workshops for process or productivity improvements
- Demonstrate the initiative to explore alternative technologies and approaches to solving problems
- Innovates and integrates new processes and/or technology to significantly add value to GE Vernova
- Identifies how the cost of change weighs against the benefits and advises accordingly
- Proactively learns new solutions and processes to address seemingly unanswerable problems
