Job Summary
Principal Technical Product Manager for AI-driven DSP and DSPM leading end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and execution for a data security platform across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem estates. Own market strategy, pricing/packaging, and customer-facing engagement; drive AI/ML integration, autonomous capabilities, and API-native platform design; collaborate with engineering, design, sales, and customer success; mentor other PMs and set high craft standards. Responsibilities include defining architecture-level product requirements, prioritizing bets from discovery, conducting customer interviews, and shaping governance, compliance outcomes (PCI-DSS, SOC 2, GDPR) within a cross-functional, hybrid-work environment in Mississauga. Required depth in technical/market dimensions, hands-on AI/shipping experience, and ability to influence at executive levels.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of product management experience, with a track record of owning technical or platform products end to end — strategy, business case, roadmap, discovery, and delivery
- Demonstrated business and customer ownership — understand market, buyer, pricing/packaging, revenue and retention
- Deep technical fluency — read architecture diagrams, reason about APIs and data models, and trade-offs with engineering
- Hands-on experience shipping AI/ML or agentic features — production use of ML/LLMs, opinions on AI in security
- Experience building security or data products (DSPM, DLP, CASB, cloud security, data governance)
- Cloud fluency across AWS, Azure, GCP and hybrid/on-prem environments
- Exceptional written communication — precise specs and strategy documents
- Proven ability to influence senior engineers, executives, and customers
- Deliberate use of agentic AI tooling for research and prototyping with validation
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment (Mississauga office, 4 days/week)
- Expert in Agile/Scrum, JIRA, writing epics and user stories
Desired Qualifications
- Direct DSP/DSPM or data security product experience
- Experience defining agentic AI products and guardrails
- Working knowledge of MITRE ATLAS, NIST AI RMF, and OWASP LLM/ML Top 10
- Familiarity with DSPM integration with SIEM, SOAR, and cloud security tooling
- Hands-on or technical background in coding or engineering roles before moving to product
- Experience selling/shipping to large regulated enterprises
