Job Summary
Operate production environments for Israel's commercial cloud, administering systems and databases while analyzing performance to recommend solutions that improve availability and supportability. Provide escalation support for complex production problems involving immense growth, scaling, and high-performance requirements, and guide junior engineers through incident bridges. Develop new processes and procedures to enhance cloud capabilities and ensure reliability for critical business operations.
Required Qualifications
- deep technical knowledge
- administration/analysis knowledge of Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure
- ability to perform administration and analysis for multiple production environments
- ability to recommend new and novel solutions to improve availability, performance, and supportability
- ability to provide escalation support to a wide range of complex production environment problems
- ability to handle immense growth, scaling, leveraging the cloud, extremely high performance, and high availability requirements
- ability to guide junior engineers to solve complex problems
- ability to take part in large-scale incident bridges
- ability to help build new processes and procedures
- ability to work onsite
