Job Summary
Lead technical advisory role at Savannah River Site with Edgewater Technical Associates. Establish cost-effective technical solutions to complex, frequently changing requirements; provide expert leadership for multi-disciplinary teams on highly visible, programmatic issues; interact with DOE-SR, DOE-HQ, and external organizations; define scope of new work and strategic plans; remain current on emerging technologies and contribute to programmatic improvement initiatives. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a physical science or engineering field and substantial nuclear-related experience; advanced degree preferred; US citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a DOE clearance. Based in Aiken, SC.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Ability to obtain & maintain a DOE 'Q' clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a physical science or engineering field
- 15 to 20 years’ experience preferably in nuclear related assignments including direct operations management
