Job Summary
Define, prioritize, and execute task plans for the XBR program while partnering with SW and SE development teams to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery. Elicit and document product requirements, create and maintain a product roadmap, and participate in PI planning within a scaled Agile framework. Collaborate with stakeholders and customers to align with the product vision and escalate concerns as needed. This Principal Systems Engineer role focuses on building team capabilities and managing competing priorities for surface radar systems at Raytheon's SETC Surface Radars & Sensors Center in Woburn, MA.
Required Qualifications
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Secret - Current Security Clearance Status
- Active and existing security clearance on day 1
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience in systems technology, including systems analysis, requirements, and/or technical development
- Experience working in an Agile environment and/or on Agile development projects
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with radar capability domains such as Discrimination and Classification, Tracking, Electronic Protection, or Signal Processing development
- Proficiency in engineering tools such as MATLAB
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
