Job Summary
Lead the development and implementation of advanced system solutions across the product lifecycle, aligning technical teams to stakeholder requirements, performing top-down decomposition and bottom-up V&V, and driving multidisciplinary system development initiatives. Champion Systems Engineering principles, guide architecture, requirements derivation and allocation, system integration, verification, and validation, and mentor engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive, compliant system solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree or Masters +13 yrs experience)
- Typically 15+ years of related experience (or Masters + 13 years of experience)
- Ability to drive multidisciplinary system development initiatives
- Architect comprehensive systems integrating multiple sub-systems
- Advanced expertise in Systems Engineering principles and lifecycle
- Experience in requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation
- Experience in system architecture, integration, verification, and validation (V&V)
- Contribute to corporate Systems Engineering policy and process definition and implementation
- Ability to communicate with engineers and SMEs to drive systems engineering products
- Experience leading major projects and mentoring junior and mid-level engineers
- Experience or certification in INCOSE standards
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
- Adaptability to fast-paced environments
