Job Summary
Principal Systems Engineer (Mission Management) to work on a cryptologic dissemination project in Fort Meade, MD. Will support modernization of auto-dissemination adjudication processes, analyze data flows between systems, and create artifacts to help requestors and adjudicators determine whether proposals are prohibited, allowed, or subject to adjudication. Requires TS/SCI with polygraph and a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or related discipline with 20+ years of systems engineering experience (master’s degree or PhD may substitute for two years). Desired familiarity with privacy law and policy, Lean Six Sigma, and Jira, plus knowledge of the Cryptologic Dissemination Review Committee (CDRC) and related governance.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or other related discipline and at least 20 years of systems engineering experience. A master’s degree or PhD may be substituted for two years of experience. Note: High School Diploma or GED plus 24 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.
- Position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Familiarity with intelligence community law and policy protecting U.S. persons
- Process engineering and/or Lean Six Sigma experience
- Systems engineering or development experience
