Job Summary
Principal Systems Engineer in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions. Leads IAM strategy and standards across platforms, with emphasis on PKI, identity management, and privileged access management. Architects IAM solutions, assesses technologies and costs, ensures regulatory compliance, and mentors Systems Engineers. Reports to management with a focus on high availability, security governance, and cross-team collaboration. Hybrid work model available in Scottsdale, San Francisco, Chicago, or New York; must be eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field or equivalent work experience
- A minimum of 10 years proven experience as a senior engineer or architect in IAM, with a focus on PKI, identity management, and privileged access management
- Strong understanding of security compliance frameworks, governance, and risk management
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols, Active Directory, and security best practices
- Experience with Birthright Applications, Role-Based-Access, Least Privileged Access and related IAM concepts
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to work with vendors/contractors
