Job Summary

Principal Systems Engineer focusing on ARP-4754 Systems Certification for Boeing Displays. Coordinates program-level certification activities, including DA reviews, readiness reviews, and support for FAA/EASA Certification Compliance Finders. Acts as primary interface with external customers and cross-functional teams (systems, hardware, software, safety, and program management) to develop certification plans, manage scope, cost, and schedule, and identify/address risks. Mentors team members, champions training materials, and supports MBSE and model-based approaches. Requires a STEM degree and extensive experience in ARP-4754/DO-178, ARINC standards (ARINC 429/664/661), and certification processes. Travel up to 25% may be required. Onsite role located in Cedar Rapids, IA.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience OR Advanced Degree with minimum 5 years of experience
  • 3+ years of experience working with E-UMs/TCRs for DA audits related to ARP-4754
  • 5+ years of experience with ARP-4754 and/or DO-178 certification processes
