Job Summary
Lead cross-functional teams to drive successful closure of challenging development projects to final design and resolve difficult problems in a collaborative environment. Provide technical leadership for sustaining product teams with high to moderate complexity, evaluating risks, recommending actions, and developing contingencies for various scenarios. Analyze risk tradeoffs to determine appropriate paths forward, ensuring integration of deliverables from subsystem teams, cross-functional groups, and external partners. Resolve competing constraints between Engineering, Risk Management, Compliance, Reliability, Clinical, and Human Factors functions while maintaining adherence to product development processes and Quality System requirements. Implement configuration and change management throughout the complete product life-cycle, coordinating internal staff, contractors, and third-party service providers. Prepare and present written and oral reports to internal and external audiences as required.
Required Qualifications
- B.S.
- 5 + years related experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of engineering disciplines
- Solid knowledge of Systems
- Solid knowledge of Electro/Mechanical
- Solid knowledge of Fluid Mechanics
- Solid knowledge of Materials Science
- Cross-functional team experience
- Strong investigative and problem solving skills
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
- Required minimum number of days a week onsite
