Job Summary
Experienced Principal Systems Engineer sought to perform analysis, architecture and design of total system products for DoD mission systems. Responsible for requirements allocation, interface definition, verification planning, and supportability analyses; lead bid/proposal efforts and serve as test director on scaled Agile programs. Collaboration across multi-discipline teams to deliver secure, cryptographic communications solutions for military customers. Proficiency with Scaled Agile, DOORS, CAMEO, and programming/scripting in Rust and Python; strong emphasis on hardware-software integration, verification/validation, and cryptographic hardware/network encryption in aerospace/defense contexts. Onsite role in El Segundo, CA with eligibility for relocation assistance and active SECRET clearance required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship is required; only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Active and transferable SECRET clearance
- Familiarity with Scaled Agile framework
- Experience with DOORS, CAMEO or similar tools
- Experience with Rust and Python
- Experience with systems development process (requirements capture, design, decomposition, integration, verification/validation, transition to production)
- Experience with Hardware and Software Integration, Validation & Verification Testing, and Qualification Testing
- Experience with Cryptographic Hardware architecture/design, Network Encryption specifications and test methodologies
