Job Summary
Develop system functional requirements and decompose them into hardware and software architectures using Cameo tools. Build Activity, Internal Block Diagram, and Block Definition Diagram models while maintaining traceability and version control. Support cyber-architecture by mapping requirements to designs using JSIG/NIST guidance and Zero-Trust concepts. Write automation scripts for infrastructure provisioning and integrate model validation into CI/CD pipelines. Draft test plans, execute data-flow verification, and produce architecture briefs and interface control documents. Mentor junior engineers on MBSE practices and tool usage.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a STEM field
- at least 5 years of relevant military / professional experience
- Master's Degree in a STEM field
- at least 3 years of relevant military / professional experience
- PhD
- at least 1 year of relevant military / professional / academic experience
- active US Government Secret or higher clearance
- background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation
- ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval
- experience developing Activity, IBD, and BDD models
- experience with model libraries and traceability
- experience with cross-domain solutions
- multi-level security (IL-4/5/6)
- government-furnished hardware/software (GFX/GFE)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Azure, AWS GovCloud, or Google Cloud architectures
- Knowledge of Zero-Trust, RBAC/IAM, and micro-segmentation concepts
- Proficiency in Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, or Python for automation
- Exposure to CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins) and model-driven development pipelines
- Background in defense, aerospace, or missile systems
- Certified MBSE Professional
- Azure Solutions Architect Associate
- CISSP (or equivalent)
