Job Summary
Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment to support classified programs. Collaborate with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements, develop end-to-end IT infrastructure solutions, and document processes. Must obtain DoD 8140/8570 certifications within 6 months of start date. Roles are 24x7 operational and may require work beyond standard hours, with travel up to 5%. Onsite in Tucson, AZ. Requires active DoD secret clearance and U.S. citizenship. Experience with Windows and Linux environments, Active Directory, MECM, VMware, backup/recovery, and data storage (NAS/SAN) is preferred. Relocation eligibility may apply.
Required Qualifications
- Typically requires bachelor’s degree and minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or a master’s degree and minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience
- Transferable U.S. government issued secret security clearance is required prior to start date
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Must be able to obtain DoDD 8140 / 8570 Certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) within 6 months of start date
- Must be able to develop solutions and documentation to solve a variety of technical problems
- Experience in Windows and Linux environments (Windows Server internals, DNS, DHCP, AD, server replication; Linux fundamentals)
- Experience with MECM, VMware, and recovery enterprise suites
- Travel up to 5%
