Job Summary
Principal Systems Administrator responsible for IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment. Tasks include managing DNS, DHCP, and AD; server replication; and supporting a fast-paced environment. Must troubleshoot moderate-to-high complexity IT problems and integrate hardware and OS. Role is 100% onsite in Tucson, AZ. Candidates must possess or obtain a DoD 8140/8570 certification within 6 months, and hold a Secret security clearance. Preferred qualifications include containerization (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Tanzu, Rancher), CI/CD tooling (GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps), experience with VMWare vCenter/vSphere/ESX, WSUS/MECM/Exchange, HPC in Linux, and DoD/RMF/DFARS knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance required
- U.S. citizenship required for security clearance
- Experience with Windows and/or Linux
- Ability to obtain DoDD 8140 / 8570 Certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) within 6 months of start date
Desired Qualifications

- NISPOM/JAFAN/JSIG/DFARS/DoD/RMF familiarity

- DoD security clearance (Secret)
